Judy Timothy elected Secretary at July meeting
Judy Timothy, one of the organizers of the very successful Space Coast Patriots group, was elected by acclimation to the position of Secretary at the July meeting. The Secretary position was vacated last month by Ruthie Montelione.
Timothy has made quite a name for herself as one of the chief organizers of the highly successful Space Coast Patriots group that means at the library in Cocoa. The group averages 60-75 people per month and all are dedicated to effecting change at the ballot box.
The Secretary position is one of the most critical in the BREC, as the Secretary is tasked with keeping track of both new members coming on the committee, and notifying and removing those who fall off because of absenteeism. The Secretary must also coordinate with RPOF and the Supervisor of Elections.

Lawton “Bud” Chiles III files for Florida Governor seat as NPA

Poll: More Than Half of Americans Say Health Reform Is Not Worth Increasing the Deficit
A Quinnipiac University poll found that fewer Americans approve of how the president is handling the health care issue and fewer believe health care reform is important enough to warrant increasing the deficit.
