  • Senator Rubio sent a letter to U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin regarding a Dutch appeals court’s decision that jeopardizes the supply of American-made F-35 jet parts to Israel.
Legislation 
  • Senator Rubio led an effort that sought to overturn a Biden Administration rule that allocates American tax dollars to Chinese competitors by waiving the Buy America requirements for EV charging stations. President Biden vetoed the resolution, and the Senate failed to override the veto.
  • Senator Rubio and Senator Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) introduced the Preserving Access to Patient Reimbursement Act to ensure veterans have options, other than web-based forms, for travel reimbursement. 
  • Senator Rubio Tim Kaine (D-VA) introduced the Diplomatic Security Modernization Act, which would modernize the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS) policies, resources, and operations. 
  • Senator Rubio and colleagues introduced the Secure U.S. Leadership in Space Act of 2024 to designate spaceports as eligible for tax-exempt statuses to boost investment in spaceport infrastructure.
  • Senator Rubio and Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) introduced a bill to rename the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center after Thomas H. Corey, a Vietnam veteran who tirelessly supported Florida’s veterans.
